    Description

    An unusual and appealing bronze of a Labrador Retriever dog by artist Margaret Houston, dated 1975. Titled "Lab Retriever", this is number 6 in the small edition of only 12 produced. This is real bronze from the lost wax method, heavy and highly detailed, and of obvious quality. This is more of a field style Labrador, leaping off the shore to retrieve a bird in the water. The urgency and enthusiasm of the dog shows very much as he launches himself to his work. Just a stunning piece. Fully signed. This is a large piece, measuring 6" tall by 11" long. For the duck  hunter, the sporting dog and Labrador Retriever enthusiast, and the dog dock diving competitor, this is an amazing piece.
